Payment Terms - Real Africa Travel: Safaris & Tours to Kenya

Real Africa Travel recommends carefully reviewing your safari itinerary prior to finalizing your payment.
Payments can be made securely online using a credit/debit card or bank wire transfer.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve hotel rooms. The remaining 70% balance is due 45 days prior to the commencement of the safari during the Peak Season (July to October 31) and 7 days prior to the start of travel for any other time of the year.
The 30% deposit will become nonrefundable after 72 hours from the time of payment, unless under exceptional circumstances as outlined in the following paragraph.
Cancellations due to natural causes like weather, disaster, political causes, death or terminal illness will be refunded less 10% of the amount paid if cancellation is received more than 45 days before day of travel.
Real Africa Travel guarantees a full refund for cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

If a booking with a hotel or local airline is canceled, we will endeavor to minimize any applicable cancellation fees charged by the provider.
A cancellation fee may also apply if the number of travelers is reduced or the duration of the stay is shortened.
Pre-booked and paid-for activities may not be refundable.
The cancellation fees are listed below, according to the total payment paid.
1. 1. 1. Bookings can be canceled within 72 hours of payment, resulting in a full refund and no cancellation fee.
    2. A 10% cancellation fee will apply for bookings canceled more than 45 days prior to the scheduled travel date, if the cancellation occurs after 72 hours of payment.
    3. A 70% cancellation fee will be charged for bookings canceled between 14 and 45 days before the scheduled travel date.
    4. A 100% cancellation fee will be imposed for bookings canceled within 14 days of the travel start date

Your cancellation must be confirmed via email. A notification will be considered invalid unless you receive an acknowledgment email from Real Africa Travel.
